Lamb cat foods UK

Lamb is sometimes used as an alternative protein for cats with food sensitivities, particularly if they cannot tolerate chicken or fish. Some cats do very well on lamb-based diets, especially limited ingredient or single protein foods.

However, lamb is not considered a true novel protein for many cats, as it has become more common in commercial pet foods over recent years. Because of this, some cats may already have been exposed to it through treats or mixed-protein foods. Lamb foods are still worth considering for some sensitive cats, particularly when recipes avoid chicken and other common allergens.
